This is a summary of how Club Motorhome works.

The website

Club Motorhome has been developed with the motorhome enthusiast in mind. An initial amount of content has been included and will continue to be. Each suitable piece of content has a "Print" facility making it very easy to save the information by printing it off economically. It is hoped that a community of members will grow and add even more content that will be available to other members.

We welcome hints and tips, as well as articles and news to include. The website is designed very much around a club environment. Significant differences being that it is wholly and independantly owned, not connected to any motorhome related industry so we are not trying to sell books, magazines or accessories - and we're not run by a committee so do not, therefore, suffer from internal club politics or conflicts of interest!

Further additions have already been included since our launch - FREE motorhome forums and members FREE classified advertising section being just two of them. We have obtained exclusive discounts from motorhome related suppliers to Club Motorhome subscribers too. More features are planned and we will also listen to members requests as far as our future development is concerned.

 

Membership

Club Motorhome has two levels of membership:

 

FREE Forum Member - Registration required and that's all! We don't 'lure' you in with the promise of a free forum then you find a subscription payment is necessary to continue using it - Our forums are completely free to use.

Free forum members can upgrade if they wish to full members at any time by clicking on Upgrade Subscription and following the instructions.

 

Full Member (Subscriber) - Registration followed by subscription is required to benefit from ALL the features of the Club Motorhome website.

There is a small subscription payable to become a full member. Club Motorhome relies on income generated from members subscriptions and a degree of advertising to fund its development - and most importantly, keep its independence. Although trade advertising will be included it will not smother the website with adverts and will not be allowed to influence the website's future direction - All Google type advertising banners are automatically hidden from subscribing members.

The subscriptions are £10 for a whole year or just £30 for a lifetime subscription ie. it never expires! We also have a 'trial' option which allows 4 months full membership for just £5. You'll save this many times over from the information you gain, discounts you can receive or the cost of overnight stays by using the stopovers we list. At less than 20 pence a week full £10 membership is a bargain!

 

Subscription payments can be made by credit/debit card or through your own Paypal account if you have one. We use the secure payment system that Paypal offers to accept these payments but you do not have to have your own Paypal account to use it.

We can also accept payments in non UK currencies through this system and therefore welcome European and overseas members.

Full membership entitles you to access the restricted areas, these contain far more content than the public pages. Liken it to entering a newsagent to browse a magazine - you may well be able to glance at the pages but you should hardly be able to read the whole thing, your choice is to either buy the magazine, or leave the shop. Unlike a magazine or book though, we have a 'Money Back Guarantee'

If you have a current subscription you have full access to the areas of Club Motorhome that are only available to members. You will see additional menu categories in the members area and you will be able to read complete articles instead of just introductions.
