Hi all, we are going to be in the South West over the Easter weekend and the week after. We will be stopping in Exmout...
Hi all, we are going to be in the South West over the Easter weekend and the week after.
We will be stopping in Exmouth for a night or two, then heading down to Praa sands in Cornwall.
I know loads of car parks and good pubstops in the area, so if you fancy meeting up between those dates, let me know and I will arange something.
I have a new paddleboard to try out, so there may be daytime entertainment for those who watch my first go!

    Finally got away, made it to Exmouth at midnight, fewer motorhomes than usual parked up, but still no change to the overnight parking.
    Tides in but it's dark!

      When they open up a carpark for an aire, all motorhome parking will be banned on the seafront.

    I'm glad I postponed our trip by a week, last night the car park in mevagissey that we will more than likley be staying in for a night was flooded out!

      Have just driven 360 miles today and only needed to change gear once! The roads in Spain are soooo good. I wonder who paid for them!

      360 miles in 1 day, I dream of that, my kids are usually thumping each other and in tears after 60 miles, so I'm forever stopping!

      I actually got told today that they only want to travel 40 minutes every other day when we go to France for a month in the summer!

      Personally, from reports I'm getting from back home in St Awful (sorry, should have said Austell!)), I'm delighted that we are away in Spain!! It's far better than the stuff turned out by St Austell brewery! Unless, of course, you are lucky enough to find somewhere still selling St Austell Brewery's HSD (aka HighSpeedDiesel) on draught!! Few and far between nowadays, and more likely to be on sale in bottles, but if you can find the genuine article well-kept on draught, it takes a lot of beating, in my humble opinion!!! The bottled version isn't bad, and can be found on the shelves in Tesco and the like, but the draught, for me, is as good a real ale as you could wish for... Maybe it could be a discussion topic for the forums...... Best real ale pub stopovers??  More ...

      However I know plenty of lovely pubs in Kernow and I agree about the food.
