    Overnight parking in Liverpool marina has been stopped.
    The owners applied for planning to landscape the area and create 12 dedicated motorhome overnight bays with usual Aire style restrictions.
    The council has rejected the planning application on the grounds of it not being in keeping with the flats overlooking the car park.
    However it has gone to appeal but the petition and time to object has closed.

      How can it make a difference if they overlook a car park or an Aire ... all vehicle and not the best view anyway ...

      Yes but the marina we're asking for official permission. Obviously the locals and council didn't like that.
      Mind you it's on appeal......
