    Hi, it’s a while since I’ve been on, but can anyone give me an estimate as to how long a gas bottle in motor home will last when using it for cooking , fridge and hot water when camping off grid ....i would appreciate any help. Thanks

      All depends how big the gas bottle is lol.
      We had 2x 7 kgs bottles and I never used more than one even when away for 3 or 4 weeks.

      Haven't checked for a long time but when we were on long wildcamping/aires trips we used to reckon on a litre of gas per day. That was for hot water,Haven't checked for a long time but when we were on long wildcamping/aires trips we used to reckon on a litre of gas per day. That was for hot water, cooking (oven and hob) and a bit of heating when needed.

      2 litres to 1 kg of gas so an 11kg cylinder would last 21/22 days         More ...
