Hello
Preparing the camper for a trip the other day, I was asked "where are were going", my response was "only the New Forest for the weekend"
As a child back in the fifties. A weekend in the New Forest would have been a major event and certainly not described as 'only'
Having travelled extensively throughout Europe, and farther afield, have I become complacent as to a holiday in the UK?
Like me, do others use the term 'only', without further thought?
We did however have a wonderful time
