Hello it's been too long a time being holed up and I am sure everyone agrees!

However now we are thinking about bikes for our future travels.

Apart from the obvious I wonder if anyone has any opinions on the benefits or drawbacks of pedal assist against manual bikes. Does the weight of them, the constant charging, the battery maintenance which we understand is quite high make them less useable in motorhome living?

Given that we are lazy (getting them on and off the rack etc) and actually quite like a walk anyway, does anybody consider that theirs have truly improved their travelling experience. I know this is a bit horses for courses but they can be a bit pricey and if we can get some real life opinions it would be great.

Thanks and have fun we are all nearly ready for the off.
