Hi and Happy New Year one and all,
We are relatively new to motorhoming (never yet ventured abroad in m/home) although hardened caravanners for 30years both in UK and continent.
We are fed up with UK weather and considering spending next couple of months(maybe more) in Spain.
Is there anyone else out there in same boat who fancies some company? Or anyone recommend areas/sites?
If so please get in touch.

Hi Bob and Muriel and :welcome2: & happy New Year

I am sure there are many on this site who can help with places in Spain and if you look thro' the topics you will find a forum regarding wintering in Spain.
We are off to Spain in a fortnight's time, visiting friends in Javea, taking the western route thro' France using aires. Although we have toured France a number of times over the last few years it is our first visit to Spain and so can't help you with sites etc. I've purchased the 2nd edition of All the Aires for Spain & Portugal and will be using aires as in France.

Hi Bob and Muriel,

As Barry says a look through the forum topics will give you a start to your planning. At this time of year you will probably need to be well through France to get some decent improvement in weather. You haven't said where in Spain you have in mind but the books mentioned will be of some use.

Also, there is a wealth of stopover information right here on this site

Spanish Stopovers for instance

These are nearly all reviewed and visited by other members or ourselves so should be very useful to you.

Hope this helps

Hi guys!

We were in Greece early December and apart from crazy storms the weather was good. Much better than the UK!

We are in the UK now but about to head to Spain on Friday/sat. We only have a month or so unfortunately as we need to find jobs when we get back!

You will find plenty of Brits in Portugal and southern Spain. We have some friends who we met in Greece and are now in Portugal.

When are you heading over?
