Great Day Out Flamborough

Follow the signposts to Bridlington leave by the B1255 to Flamborough, once in Flamborough follow the B1259 out to golf course/lighthouse (lighthouse road) just after the golf course on your left you will see the The Chalk Tower it was built in 1670s as an observation tower to watch for shipping.
Continue down the Lighthouse Road till you arrive at Flamborough Lighthouse which is still in use today. The car park is suitable for motorhomes with no overhead barrier, cost to park is £2.90 all day (price in 2016) no overnight parking. There is plenty to do with shop/cafe walks on the cliff tops.
Alternatively a short drive up to North Landing travel back to the village of Flamborough and leave on B1255 (North Marine Road) you will pass the The North Star Hotel on your right keep going till you arrive at North Landing car park suitable for Motorhomes with no overhead barrier, cost to park is £1.50 all day (price in 2016) no overnight parking. You will find toilets, cafe and shop. The views over the cliffs out to the North Sea are breathtaking with well marked out footpaths on the cliff tops just follow the signs both these places make for a great days out.

Nice place to visit Flamborough Head especially in spring when the sea birds are nesting.
We have been on the campsite at Bridlington and walked to Flamborough.
We also walked across the golf course towards Bridlington and there is a pub where you can park overnight. Not sure if they charge or you can have a couple of drinks or a meal for parking there.
