Davaha here, otherwise known as Dave and Val. Both retired from full time jobs, Val was a primary headteacher, Dave, a chartered Town Planner/Project Manager. Both remain working musicians playing for the Flaxmere Ceilidh Band (http://www.flaxmere.co.uk). Motorhomes have been part of our lives for the last 20 years touring mainly in the UK, France, Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Hi Spinner, Thank you for the kind words about the band. Very happy to pass on hints and tips, I'll try and dig out some photos from previous years. Hoping to get to Italy/Sicily in September/October. Thinking about getting the ferry from Genoa to Palermo. Any advice on initial stop after leaving the port will be welcome as the ferry gets in around 9.00pm.

Hi Phil,
Val multi-tasks on the accordion, being female, I can only deal with strings so mainly fiddle, with some mandolin and bouzouki.
