HI, we are new here and planning a trip to Italy in our 1988 VW high top.
Not many stopovers in Lake garda, Have found this parking area, does anyone know if its OK overnight ?

Can see on Google street that they are allowed, just can't make out for how long.

Hello and welcome.

We have found Italy to be quite relaxed about over nighting in an MH, especially out of season. However, Lake Garda is a busy place that attracts lots of visitors and therefore the authorities might not be quite so tolerant. In this situation we just play it by ear, watch what others do and have a plan B should we have to move.

We have no personal experience of this stopover but hope this might help.

Hi Sean,
When we visited lake Garda we stayed on a nice Aire type site, La Spaggia, Desenzano Del Garda. There are showers, loos and electric. Price €12 currently. Close to the lake and not far from shops. I can't help with your actual querie, sorry. But this is an alternative for you. N45.487830 E10.521240
