We are busy planning our extended trip (3-4 months) to Europe and have done lots of reading, joined various camping associations and acquired books on Aires for motorhomes. As we are new to motorhoming, we are concerned about one or two things and would appreciate any advice anyone with experience can give us.
We are travelling in a Hymer S740 which is just over 7m long and we are a bit concerned about the length being an issue for campsite/aires access. Are we worrying unnecessarily or are there significant restrictions we need to know about?
We have also debated long and hard about whether to take additional transport with us beyond our mountain bikes. We are considering a Piaggio MP3 on a fixed trailer - though this would add to our overall length! We are keen to see surrounding areas and, being of a certain age, are not quite as fit as we might be so don't see ourselves pedalling for miles and miles. We looked at the MP3 as being safer to have with a pillion passenger rather than a small moped. Again, any views, advice, recommendations would be most welcome.
Many thanks
