Considering how fond we are of their ruby nectar, it’s surprising this is the first time we have visited the Rioja region. It rained a lot of the time and the wind was icy, so we couldn’t cycle and walk as we wanted to … this resulted in a lot of our time being spent tasting wine and eating tapas, well someone had to do it :)
