I am a trackday instructor and needed a vehicle that I could live in and also transport my bike in as well. I looked around for existing conversions, but nothing was really suitable. All the self-converted had a bed above the bike part, but that seemed a bodge to me.

So I decided to design my own. It had to transport the bike and allow me to sleep with the bike in when by myself. And when with the missus, we could have a full king-sized bed.
A place in Barnsley saw the spec and after a price was agreed, they did a superb job.

I bought the van off Ebay and took it to them with the bike inside. I said "Measure the bike and make sure it fits when the conversion is done "

My mum died just previously, and the money she left me paid the conversion.

All the new windows have fly screens and black out blinds. And there's a huge roof light as well

Plenty of space in the back

Under seat storage

Seats in

Dining area

King sized bed

One seat lifts up

Seat comes over to give a decent sized bed for me to kip.

Plenty of room for all me kit

Rotating Captain's seat to open more space

Toilet

Cooker

Large beer fridge

Extends to third bed (with BBQ underneath)

Overhead locker for me bike gear

Huge roof window to look at the stars

Plenty of spacious overhead lockers
And here's a couple of the dog's own personal mobile home
