It's very easy to buy the wrong thing and or pay too much over the odds so this thread is to question and answer those needs.

For example lets start with
I have a digital aerial but struggle to find the best signal especially if there isn't another aerial about to note the correct direction.....what would you suggest?

Personally I would go for a digital signal meter with fine tuning that can be left in circuit and comes complete with F connector adapter and 9 volt battery.

Currently the best price for this highly recommended device is from Maplins to collect in store or currently free delivery or ebay

I'm going to France etc and need a euro adapter?

Well very possibly you might but many sites use standard 16 amp plugs like here in the UK. If you do encounter a euro socket I have found that some are so deep that the commonly sold angled euro plug actually wont make contact with the socket so I would advise a straight one to be assured of electric

This one is pretty good and will probably take an angled plug but very frustrating when it wont

That doesn't have the fine tune gain control but a good price for the basic model :P but without using petrol/diesel Argos delivery starts at £5.95

The dearer one was product winner in practical caravan and I've not found cheaper than £19.99 all inclusive. Even Snellyvision is plus P&P

Catalytic converter thefts put the fear of God into many over reports of costing many 100's of squids :ohmy:
I found that for my year of boxer it's not so life threatening. Good to be fore armed.
