Hard front suspension on a Fiat

Hi, just picked up my first motorhome yesterday, the front suspension gives a very hard ride, loads of shock when going over bumps. The previous owner said he had stiffer springs fitted because the originals were a bit wallowy, but when I quizzed him on this he said there wasn't much difference. Anyhow, it's too stiff so does anyone have any suggestions? Are there springs recommended. Motorhomes a 4005 Kg Pilote A Class.
