it's been a while since we have been on a just for fun (working along the way of course) trip.

We usually centre our travels in France, Spain or Portugal discovering their seemingly endless choice of places to stop.

Planning a trip that takes us somewhere a bit different is now on the cards and although not sure when we are looking at we need ideas of places particularly any that have really surprised people, in a good way. I have a bit of a hankering for Iceland but am a little concerned at the long crossing. Anybody got any ideas that they would be happy to share either with photos or anecdotes.

We have a dog too to consider so large town visits are probably not for us....C x
