We've got a Sevylar Hudson Canoe and off to the Lakes next week with the intention of using the canoe (first time).
We've got oars, buoyancy aids (including one for the dog) - throw line and thats it.
We are off to Derwentwater then Coniston.
Any canoeists on here - do we need anything else. I've been canoeing before but other half not but know that he has to sit in front of me so I can keep an eye on him not paddling! and so I can steer us out of trouble!!
