Hello fellow motorhomers. Anyone got any advice about motorhome roller blinds. The little plastic nipple has snapped off the bottom of ours and now it won't stay down. So fragile. Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks the bottom part of the blind or does it mean that we have to replace the whole blind.
Also al our locks, cupboards, drawers, habitation door, are drying out and sometimes stick shut or won't shut. Keep WD40 in van and use it regularly but anyone know of something that lasts longer. I feel they need something greasier??
Sorry for simple questions but I am a simple soul and new to motorhoming. Not sure where to go for things! http://www.clubmotorhome.co.uk/components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/blush.png
Hi susieduke

Any chance you could post a photo so we can have a look at your problem?

With regard to locks, etc drying out what about using a silicone or teflon spray?
I find WD40 disperses quite quickly & therefore dries out quicker.

No expert - just a suggestion.

These fittings are available from most caravan shops and are quite easy to fit.

The graphite lead from a HP pencil is a good lubricant. If you sharpen the pencil lead with a sharp knife a few grains in the right place may help
