We managed to do 10 days earlier this month in Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk spending only 2 nights on paid CL's. Solar energy held out, kept warm, was well satisfied. Feel seeking out wild/pubstops etc can be time consuming. All these businesses and pubs in private members directories not always suitable. Wildcamp spots, also listed on private members websites not always there or appropriate for us. Need more time for personal evaluation... roll on retirement!
Hi vivo and :welcome2:

Where (apart from the CLs) did you stay?

Not quite sure I follow your comments regarding directories and websites but glad you had a good trip  .

River side car parks, pub car parks, parking on Industrial Estates, town car park which allow overnights. (Bury St Edmunds and Ely). Although latter next to noisy railway line.
Basically found a spot we liked the look of and then went in to ask if OK to park up overnight.
In all cases no problem.
I suppose we are mentally filtering our search parameters and will try to 'order' these in future if nothing other than to better understand our own thought processes.
