Looking for a plug in site near Cartmel racetrack

As newby motor homies I am looking for a site near to Cartmel racetrack were we can use shower facilities etc for the race meeting in May. I know they allow 'wild camping' on site and have facilities but these are reserved for horsey people during race meetings. As we are are still getting to grips with basic motor homing can anyone suggest anywhere ???.......I know we should be doing the wild thing but one step at a time !!!! .....thanx
