On our latest trip through France we revisited one of our favourite Aires (its listed in our Stopovers) - St Clement des Levees.

It was a lovely July evening so I took a few photos around the parking area:

Great view facing the Loire

Small working boats

Not so working boat

Sunset

and a nice full moon to finish

Not bad for a free stopover location eh?

Nice photos Neil.

We've got friends who have a house halfway between Poiters and Limoges so this would be an ideal stop off for us when we visit them.

We've never heard of it before and it looks lovely.

Just as a reminder to all, if you have any photos of Aires we welcome any that could be included in our Aires and Stopover listings please use our form to send them to us. I will acknowledge receipt and of course credit you with the photo on the listing

If however, you have details of any stopovers that we don't yet list or updated details for any that we do have, we also have a form for those too

Your help really is much appreciated!

One of our current favourites

St Jean d'Angeley

Lovely historic town and a superb Aire location by large public space complete with boating lake - great walking too!

Pretty sure we'll be re-visiting in September in our next Aires hunting trip B)

Keep your favourites coming....
