We have just purchased a Burstner 660 i elegance and I am in the process of adding a few "additions" ,solar panels ,tv brackets and running sat cable through the van . While doing this I came across a large electrical plug under the seat ,It has three wires two thick battery type cables ,the red one permenantly live and a thin blue one which becomes live when ignition on ,the other black one seems to be an earth .
The Ducato manual does mention it as an accessory plug but no other mention of it
What is the considered knowledge on this ? Is it a fused heavy duty power supply that could be used for say an inverter ?
(it would save wiring into the batteries ) and would it be connected to the starter battery ,rather than the leisure ones ?
