This may be stating the obvious but there have been some recent changes to the way the forums look and work.

Firstly the layout has moved from the 'boxy' topic lists to the more common and easily recognised topic listings. There are now 50 topics to each of the 'Recent Topics' pages.

One of the big differences is that casual browsers or 'guests' can't see the content of topic replies unless they register or login. This is because you, our members, take time and trouble to answer others members questions and concerns and it seems right that its other members who should benefit from your efforts ;)

You will see that there is a little drop-down panel that gives you access to some of your own information, which you can change accordingly.

The emoticons work slightly differently in that you have to open a panel that contains them before you can put one into a post. When you have selected one (or more) to go where you want it, you have to CLOSE the emoticon panel to continue with your posting.

Photos are added much the same as before but I know the procedure can be confusing so the following image is how you do it - the most important thing is to remember to physically click the 'Insert' button when you are ready to do so.

Finally, you will see there's a little 'widget' after the first post in each topic which shows any other topics that may be similar or relevant for you to go to after you've read the current one.

There will be a little tinkering required by me while this new setup settles in so please provide your feedback as to how you (hopefully) like it :woohoo:

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
