I dont mind waving...occasionally...our first motorhome, an adria (white) attracted lots of waving in the UK and in France, to the point my arm nearly fell off. During a moment of madness we switched to a van conversion (grey) and the waving dimished to the point of no recognition at all from other road users! Having got over that moment of madness we switched again back to a low profile Burstner- White with a grey cab. Now we have late notice wavers because at first glance its the wrong colour( not a big white box) then instant waving just as the vehicles pass. Interestingly on a "club site" no one speaks to each other so I dont know why they feel the need to wave on the road.
