I then spoke my wife and realised that at age 70 I been privileged to witness many momentous events, I have seen either TV or first hand Royal weddings, Princess Margaret was the first watched live on TV, right up to the present with controversial match of Prince Harry. I watch various space rocket launches including the first moon landings. We just happened to have the telly on when the S A S stormed the embassy in London, why I don't know but even President Kennedy being shot, I was even present when the Pope landed at RAF Leeming. I think like an awful lot of you guys sat transfixed when the Berlin wall came down, Two questions then, what do you remember, and, are these so momentous because very few things were "live streamed" and instant news was not available, unless of course you had ticker tape. over to you folks.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully.
