Do you use one?
Caromac has had a Sony PRS-505 for a while now and it really seems to do the job. She enjoys reading the 'classics' that came with it and has added a couple of more recent titles since.
I've just ordered an Amazon Kindle 3G, not just to use as a reader but because it has the possibility of connection to the internet for basic browsing and emailing. Its the latter feature that swung it for me as I hope it will give us the opportunity to keep up with emails when we are on our motorhome travels and outside the range of any wifi.
Looking forward to receiving it and trying out its capabilities 'on the road' and I'd be interested to hear how others get on with theirs....
First impressions? - Amazing piece of kit!
NOT only for downloading books but for the 3G and Wifi capability.
All too often internet access is limited on our travels, sometimes we influence our daily route by where to stop at a McDonalds etc for free wifi - not any more!
We have just spent 3 weeks wild camping next to a beach in Spain and have been able to receive and send emails, keep tabs on Club Motorhome and was able to use the Kindle for basic web browsing (even came across a snotty review of Club Motorhome on another forum  ), kept up on our Facebook etc. - albeit in monochrome with a fiddly 'mouse' action but amazing none the less.
All this internet capability comes at NO EXTRA COST, the only cost being the original purchase price.
It has to be one of the most 'must have' essentials for the often travelling motorhomer.
