Hi - We are travelling around Italy this year for 6 months but have already started planning for 2019. we are considering doing Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and wondering how others manage the different currencies. Should we take cash for each country or would a currency card eg Caxton FX be widely accepted there or maybe a mixture of both. Also we have normally tried to avoid toll roads as much as possible but it seems that we may have to use them in the Scandinavian countries due to the longer distances. Is it possible to get a toll tag that covers all the countries or would we need one for each country. If so where would we get them from. Can they be purchased before we get there?
