As a result of a friend of ours (zoro) purchasing a Hymer & having a front axle weight problem we decided to EMPTY our van & get it weighed. This is with 50% fuel and water
It's plated at 1850kg front axle and 2000kg with a GVW of 3.7t.
It weighed in at
1920kg front axle
1600kg rear axle
With a total weight of 3620kg.
We were astounded with the weight on the front axle.
We have a 3l engine with the comfortmatic gearbox.
I weigh 70kg & him 82kg.
Have emailed Rapido today - Dealers (Brownhills) not interested.
Any advice?
