Hi all. We got back from touring Morocco in our 19 year old Hymer in February 2012, following a similar route to that the Camping and Caravanning Club use. What a fantastic, exciting experience. We were pretty nervous about heading over there, especially as we have our dog with us, and were somewhat embarrassed when we found out how easy it is. We met tons of French motorhomers, all travelling independently and half of them with pets. One family had two small children with them and told us they were having no problems at all, they thought we were mad for thinking they might be! The French treat the place like it is still part of France.

So where were all the Brits? We don't know if the quality of information on the country is as good in English, so we put together a book outlining the practicalities of taking your van and dog to Morocco. It includes step-by-step processes to get in and out of the country, advice on insurance, when to haggle, what the campsites are like, where we stayed, the road conditions, how well TomTom maps work and so on. It's 84 full-colour A5 pages and is available at:

We've attached a sample few pages too, so you can get a feel for the layout, style and content:

Hi Jason and Julie (& Charlie)

Been following your travels and looks to have been quite an adventure. I've been happy to include your blog on the Club Motorhome website as it makes inspiring reading for others who just need that extra push to do something themselves :)

Good luck with the sales of your guide, I've edited your post to include a link to the sample pages - hope this is OK ;)

For those who haven't yet read your blog we have it here

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
