Did Northern Portugal back in Sept Oct. Crossed into Spain from Irun. If you haven’t been before San Sebastian is worth a stop, one of the nicest cities in Spain, there is an Aire in the city too. The motorway to Victoria Gastiez, Burgos, Valadolid and Zamora is relatively new and the toll is cheap as chips. From there we took the E82 to Braganca and then over the mountains to Villa Real and followed the river Douro to Porto beautiful scenery and real ‘old country’. Well worth spending some time in the North.
