As we've just come up this newly refurbished and tolled road I thought it might be of interest to others to show how the tolls work, they could cost you dearly if you don't query the amounts shown to pay!
As you approach the tolls (there are 2 sets along this road) the centre booths deal with cash or cards. As you draw up to the payment machine it automatically displays the money due.
14.40€ !!!
Press the call button and after a little while someone will answer (in French of course). Just say 'Bonjour, camping-car s'il vous plait' and immediately the display changes.
