A few years ago we decided to go and see the Northern Lights in Norway. Unfortunately after spending Oct, November and a couple of weeks in December seeing amazing places we did not see the Northern Lights, However, we have a couple of spare weeks in January and thought might give Scotland a try.
Has anybody any experience of this and some good places to go?
Might stick the skis in as well just in case there is some good snow!

Many thanks, I downloaded this http://aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/alerts
Which looks really useful, so will keep an eye on what's going on I also notice that the moon is waning so if we can get the clear nights then who knows :unsure:
