Hello

I notice signs on some of the Belgium roads saying that road toll pricing by the kilometre are being introduced for vehicles over 3.5t from the 1st April 2016. Having searched the web I cant find out if Motorhomes eg (Private Heavy Goods taxation class) are exempt. I think it is just trucks that are being charged, but not sure

I asked Viapass the question on the subject and got this reply. So looks OK as V5C states, body type Motor Caravan.

Dear Sir

If your camping-car or motor-home is registrated as truck it will fall under the kilometre charge, but if it is registrated as motor-home of camping-car it will not fall under the kilometre charge and you will not have to request an exemption.

Kind regards,

The Viapass team.
