Hi All,

So we were hoping to take our 2 dogs a cocker and a sprocker spaniel to France this year! Both chipped and fully vaccinated and know about the rabies injection costing £200 per dog lasts 3 years but told they don’t have passports anymore it’s medical certificates required at £250 per dog per trip!!

Also takes 6 months for paperwork to clear and there is lots of it 🙈

Anyone else taken pets abroad and is it really this expensive?

We were hoping to go twice, 2 weeks in July them somewhere September but just for the medical certificates that’s £1,000 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for any advice.

S Ward
