We are off to Spain for a while in Jan and have heard that LPG garages are not that easy to find in Span. So thought as our extra tank we would use Campingaz, being readily available. Anyone know where we can find a proper regulator that will attach tank to motorhome as I have only been able to source ones that attach to a bit of rubber hosing rather than metal cased ones.

Most local street/car boot markets have someone selling secondhand bottles for around 8-10 euros. Mostly the bottles have some gas in, showing at least they're gas-tight.

Pigtails and regulators can be found as well, but you might prefer the assurance of new ones from a caravan/motorhome shop.

We had to resort to this two years ago in Spain, when we had used more gas than expected due to the icy conditions in France. (Should have headed to Spain sooner. B) )
