Hi all,

I came across this info on A.N.Other forum, and cannot accept any credit for it whatsoever, but as a BT Broadbamd customer, I hope it will be useful to Rita and I, as well as to others.

"To answer your question...Some other network.....in France and Portugal they will show up as FON.....or... SFR hotspot..or Zon in Portugal..these are the partners in other countries....
you would click on one of the hotspots below....up will come a web page...scroll down and it will say ..if you are a BT customer click here...enter your BT info and password....then you are online ...JOB DONE
and as you can see UK is nearly all orange...not just BT but any FON in the uk you can click on

I have also put a link to all fon hotspots of which BT is a member
http://maps.fon.com/ "

I couldn't copy and paste the logos, so using this link, http://corp.fon.com/#our_telco_partners , go to the bottom of the page and click on the right arrow to scroll left to right, for all participating partners.

HTH,

Jock.
