Whilst out on a bit of a recce this afternoon we happened upon a sign to a new Aire, so we took a look....

Surrounded by working countryside (olives, grapes etc) this should prove a pleasant stopover for those who appreciate the 'real Spain' environment.

There's a big opening meeting with many motorhomes expected on the 23rd November with free giant paella and so on :)

Club Motorhome subscribers can see the details of the Aire with photos and video clip of the approach here - El Palomar

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!

The approach is a bit narrow as shown in the video but fairly standard for a Spanish country lane (Cami) and visibility is good - actually better than the video shows because we were in our small 4x4 rather than sitting up high in the motorhome , which is why the video is shaky too because the camera was handheld due to the filming being a bit impromptu :)

The cami is quite bumpy as well but again, fairly standard for the type of road.

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
