I am about to take delivery of a 100watt panel and duo control box along with all the bits. My understanding is that the panel will become live as soon as the cells are uncovered once installed.
So is there a trip or switch I can put in the line/cables to isolate the feed from the panel, for those times I need to remove my leisure or vehicle battery.
Also is there a set size of cable I need to use when making up the connections from the control box to the batteries.
The subject is new to me.
