We have a 21 year old Hymer and while the 240v and gas options on the fridge work fine the 12v system does not work. Was told by a mechanic on our first campsite in France that it was the 12v heating element so sent off and got a new one after checking the fuse ! and looking at the cut out relay which seemed like new no sign of internal expansion. However it still does not work. While changing the element - fun and games using the 2 vents for access- I checked the connectors behind the fridge.
Has anybody had any similar problems or any suggestions? Thanks
