I need some advice on my leisure battery I stopped at an aire recently and had a couple of lights on which after about 15 minutes started to fade and then down to hardly any light at all,I have a solar panel on the roof which normally works quite well, the next day I checked the control panel and it read the battery was fully charged,I then stopping at another aire the same thing happened I suspect the battery is faulty but look forward to hearing from anybody who has had the same problem.

15.4v is too high even when connected to EHU. It will damage the battery. It is the sort of voltage that is OK for a short burst such as the alternator does after starting the engine to the service battery. It should fall back to about 13.8v. So you need to get the habitation charging checked out by someone familiar with your charger. You can the look at checking the battery. A high rate discharge tester will show up the state of the cells, the defective ones will bubble and gas, so no naked lights nearby. It could well be that the period on EHU with your charger gently cooking the battery has seen it off.
