We stayed here last night 10 Sept 14 We think the town is well worth a visit, being only a 5min stroll from the Area, The heart of the place is the Plaza de España there is no shortage of places to eat and drink, for those who like ice cream try the REGMA shop in the Plaza (just across from the Collegiate of San Miguel) I tried Jaspeada Escoces (whisky flavoured) that hit the spot  It is a picturesque little town for those that like architecture.<br />For those with a sweet tooth the Galletas Gullón factory shop is just outside the town walls on the N611 it is about 10mins walk from the Area de Servicios. The prices are very good and the biscuits are excellent......the chocolate digestives are slightly more crunchy than those in the UK but none the worse for that. The shop is open on Sunday mornings too! I think it is well worth spending a day in Aguilar de Campoo
