Gravel beach side parking area right by sea wall nr light house just before this area is camp site with aire and services. spent night there 24th sept with 3 other vans.
Witzend Tarmac beach side parking area would think very busy in summer spent 2 night there dec 2012 with several other vans Water and waste disposal is available from toilet block water from beach shower and Waste water and toilet disposal to small manhole cover outside toilet.
kathyandsteve We are rather enjoying this spot, the weather has been rubbish for over a week and the sea is really rough but managed some beach, boardwalk, nature reserve walks in between downpours and it's quite interesting.
Not much here apart from one small convenience store and a handful of restaurants and bars, there are authentic (and very poor) fishing villages at either end of the spit. You can walk to Quarteira along the beach or through the reserve

NEILMAC In front of the old recently restored Fort is the large parking area which tolerates vans at least off season (October). Lovely spot close to both the town and the stunning headland.

A favorite place have visited for several years nice walking on coast path also parking is available day time at beach below. And is with in sight of point du Raz Frances most westerly point but like lands end in cornwall expensive Spent several nights there in sept 2012 with several other vans.
Museum Car Park was oked by email enquiry and verbally on arrival. This museum is a days outing with Vintage cars airplanes farm and military vehicles amongst all manner of other things.
Gravel parking both sides of road 1km above nice holiday village busy in season nice walking area. Circuit de Garvarnie worth a look but allow plenty of time longest 1.5 km I've ever walked.

Nice new aire, Services and parking are pay 4 euro for 24hrs. Extra for water and EHU (several points around aire long lead my be reqd), Tarmaced entrance through carpark to Graveled aire, would accommodate 20 vans easily.
On outskirts of village which has Shops Cafe and a Vintage motor museum in two buildings and country park - both worth a look .
On D918, large road side tarmaced Aire with free services, no EHU. Space for 10 vans and well away from traffic. Small park with river walk on outskirts of village with shops and cafes. Spent one night there in June.
Parking on large gravel aire shared with coaches with in easy walking distance of Medievil Town. Services available = free fresh water, greywater and wc disposal, no ehu. Payment take a ticket pay at Kiosk before exit.
Cost is varible we paid 6 euro but 8pm til 8am is free.
Free level gravel motorhome parking shared with cars. Water tap on stand but no other facilities. Steep walk into the hilltop village, beautiful views, exposed spot if weather unkind. We never saw anyone from 3pm til 11.00 am apart from one old lady using tap to carry water to her garden - friendly wave.

On N102, French Passion site but all welcome - nice cafe and local produce shop. Steep entrance road to large gravel parking behind shop & cafe. 10 vans easily.

Parking is signed for motorhomes through car-parking large hard standing shaded area, takes 10 motorhomes, free to park but no facilities. Nice village with shops and cafes.
Hard standing with shade, local shops garage and cafes close by. Access is off main road through village behind chemists. Usual aire services - grey drain is acessable with care, water is with token.
Close to Italian border in Rhone Alps. No Facilities, possible to fish in lake - I saw a fish caught while there.
An Aire on outskirts of small village with a small lake. Parking on level gravel surface for 5 vans but entrance is through large carpark offering more parking. Services are 2 euro with token.
A free Aire with no services (which are available in the Super U in the village). Parking is on a hard grassed surface - level parking for around 8 vans + sloping for 6 more.
