    If so, any tips.

I can see a little about camping but there doesn't seem to be much about doing the route in a Motorhome.

  • Caravan and Motorhome Club wouldn't quote or provide me with insurance on a new MH.
I went with 'Caravan guard' who gave fantastic service over the phone. and gave me a great price.

Worth a try if you haven't already

England's highest Market town, 850 feet above sea level. Hawes was first recorded as a market place in 1307 . Home to the world famous Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese The name Hawes means a ‘pass between mountains' and it stands between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss.
Time to try out the new awning which should be fun. I'll post photos.
