I'd suggest that your next step would be to look around some of the larger dealer's stock and sit in any that fit the bill and come within your price limit.

You'll soon get a feel for what's available for your money. When you've narrowed it down to a few makes and models you can see what's available generally at the best prices.

    • Hiya All, I have no idea as to model or a good dealer? Can anyone point in the right direction?

As to dealers,I'd just look for the layout you want first as that together with your budget will point to towards the make/model that should suit. As to dealers, good is a matter of opinion. But, again just visit a few locally if possible and you'll get a feel about how good they are. First dealer we bought from we almost had to push them into selling us the MH we wanted but their aftersales was OK - second dealer we've used was OK to buy from but aftersales....!  More ...

I hope this helps with your advise and any other experianced motorhome owners

Hopefully one or more would have everything (or nearly) and you'd buy it from me

Now, your trying to find a good make at a reasonable cost is too hard to define here. My personal opinion would be to buy German as I believe their motorhomes are generally built better but we had a British built van before and had no concerns with quality. Other owners could well disagree based on their own experiences so its all very personal and subjective.

So tell us some more. How much do you want to spend? Will you be using it in very cold climates? How big or small do you want? Do you have a preference for base vehicle, Fiat, Peugeot, Ford, Citroen, IVECO, Mercedes etc? - even that choice can be subjective.

I'm not avoiding your question but I don't think it has a straightforward answer and I'd still advise looking at lots at shows or dealer forecourts knowing how much you can spend...
