The travel agent I have used for years now, dovereurochange has been unable to purchase the flexible tickets that have been great to use.
I have bitten the bullet and gone for the tunnel scheme.
It will work out well for us as you purchase 10 crossings at £44 each.
We do at least six some with the car and some with the camper. It costs £11 extra every time we use the camper but that is still cheap.
It also has restricted departure times for these tickets.
From Folkestone between Midnight and 6am
From Calais between 6am and 4pm.
You can also register a second user for the tickets who can book and use any of the available ones. This must be done when you set up the account and cannot be changed.
No restriction on size of camper.
