When I first started including stopovers on Club Motorhome I used the Degrees and decimal minutes format. Being quite new to using GPS for input to a satnav I thought this was the most used format as I had seen co-ordinates published this way in books.

Having now used GPS and satnav extensively during the last 4 years motorhoming I find decimal degrees input to be much easier and reliable.

From a website software point of view, the stopover information I produce on here requires the decimal degrees format for Google Maps etc to display properly so that's the one I use all the time now.

Which do you use?

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
