You should have C1. The requirements changed in 1997. DVLA are known for missing this catagory off when Driving Licences are renewed.

Hi i passed my driving test in 1994, but have bought a motor home today which is 4500kg but just checked my licence and i don’t have c+1 on my card this doesn’t sound right to me it was renewed in 2014 but only after the 10 year rule for photo can anybody help with info please

Hi Maty70, did your licence definitely have that category before the renewal for the photo? Have you passed age 70?

Might be best to contact DVLA :)

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!

I think pre 1997 up to 7.5 tons and 3.5 tons after that date!

Hi
Not sure what you are asking. Can you expand your question as I am not sure to what sort of license you are referring. Presumably the weight is that of the motorhome?
