I have never really been able to establish the correct tyre pressures for our motorhome. I read somewhere some advice that I followed which was 65psi in each tyre which seemed to work ok with reasonable comfort and roadholding.

I have since found that by contacting Michelin themselves via the following link and giving as much info as possible, including weighbridge figures for front and rear axles, together with the tyre sizes being used - the very helpful technical department reply promptly with a personalised recommendation for the pressures to use :)

In our case with 215/75-16 Camping tyres with 1620kgs on the front axle and 2020kgs on the rear, the recommended inflation figures are 55psi front and 80psi rear! Somewhat different to what I had been running

I'm looking forward to seeing how these new figures work out on the road...

If it ain't broke..... Don't fix it!
