Hello there people,
I'm new here and I'm also new to owning a motor home. Well to be honest I don't yet own one but I'm looking at a Talbot Merlin MB 1986.
I'm here because I need some advice from knowledgable people.
My obvious question is what is it worth.
The seller is asking 4300.
It needs two new batteries, a new window in the sleeping bunk above the cab. Its got a little bit of damage to the rear bumper. And a few other little niggles like loose headlight and rear light cluster. It's solid inside. Just needs a clean.
It's advertised with a bike rack for three bikes but it's unusable as all the straps are missing.
So again my question is are these vans still good at 30 years old and is the price worth it.
Oh and it's got a LPG conversion 2 years old.
Any advice would really help me out as this is my first adventure into this kind of vehicle.
Thanks.
Simon.
