Recently we were horrified to receive an insurance quote from Staysure which was close to £1000 . We're both in our early eighties, husband taking tablets for benign prostate and spouse taking blood pressure and depression tablets We go to Spain Jan Feb andMarch so it becomes a long term stay . Luckily since then the AA gave us a quote for £400 odd. Things have taken a turn for the worse since then, my wife has just broken two bones in her leg while hanging out washing and we may have a problem with the time it takes for the leg to heal . We're not moaning as such , just ruefully thinking it over and considering our options. Some of the members may be interested in the AA insurance quote which appeared to be good.
